"Over the past few months, I've received thousands of messages from people all over the world who suffer or have suffered from acne, an insecurity or self confidence issues.
I wanted to create a film that showed how social media can set unrealistic expectations on both women and men. One challenge many face today, is that as a society, we're so used to seeing false images of perfection, and comparing ourselves to unrealistic beauty standards that It can be hard to remember the most important thing - You ARE beautiful.
You are beautiful - no matter how flawed you feel, no matter how upset you may be about the way you look or how hard you find it to make friends or be confident. Believe in yourself, and never let anyone tell you're not beautiful - not even yourself.

Thank you @mypaleskinblog for sharing this vulnerable, bona fide movie. This clip not only shows how social media has such an influence on what we perceive as beautiful, but also how vocal we are about it. It also shows that if we are relying on other people's opinions/comments of ourselves we will never find true happiness. Someone will always find a flaw or something they don't like about you. The more followers you gain the harder it is to please everyone.
Em said in her caption that "Beauty is what you feel about yourself, not about what you see in the mirror". Let's make sure we are finding happiness from places that are from within and stop comparing our life through posed pictures.
Your words matter- spread the love and find what makes you happy.
P.S. This video has all the right vibes for our #bbnomakeupmonday tomorrow. Who is in? Email us your picture and words!
